Since its establishment in 1972, NCHM has held a great sense of pride and responsibility in their development of practical, performance-enhancing training programs. During this period NCHM has conducted thousands of workshops and course sessions on a wide range of management, organizational and business improvement topics. Course materials incorporate general principles applicable to all organizations, with case studies and interactive exercises drawn from the public sector.
We value a perfectionist determination in everything we do, accepting nothing short of excellence in our best efforts to put forth comprehensive and comprehensible information. We are aware that our clients, both individuals and organizations, put their faith in our products and services. We are aware that many management organizations make significant financial investments in the education of their staff members. We are determined to turn that investment into the highest rate of return possible by providing the highest quality products and services possible toward this end.
Courses are specifically designed for application to the public sector, and support skill development and management excellence. Courses have defined goals and objectives, and are quality assured through the careful analysis of student evaluations to insure performance outcomes have been met, content is accurate and directly aligned with student real-life experiences in the workplace. Designed toward the adult learner, NCHM uses interactive, experiential methods to layer the learning experience and enhance retention and assimilation. Recognizing that valuable content is provided by student contribution during discussions, NCHM instructors excel at initiating and facilitating exercises, role-playing and conversation, so that participants become stakeholders in the overall success of each session.
Each course comes with a participant workbook which becomes a practical tool for future use. Courses may be 1 to 4 days in length, and can be custom-designed with additional consultation. To minimize cost and inconvenience, courses are offered worldwide at the customer's site or a central location.
Building on a strong and well-established history of Instructor-Led Training (ILT), NCHM has expanded learning options by offering computer-based training for those topics which are best learned and retained through flexible, interactive student-driven methods.
NCHM has developed a distributed training platform to offer organizations a learning solution that retains the effectiveness of classroom-based training while leveraging the advantages of multimedia, the reach of the internet, and the cost savings of a distributable, scaleable learning system. This platform, the NCHM eCourse Player, utilizes highly interactive rich multimedia to maximize concept comprehension and increase retention rates. The approach retains elements of face-to-face learning through 'learning community' features including online resources, email to the instructor, and online discussion forums. A variety of content types enforce adult learning processes through observation, personalization and hands-on application of learned concepts.
