NCHM Provides Full-Compliance File Audit Service

NCHM provides file audit and ongoing file reviews among other professional services to the housing management industry.

Many housing organizations contact us and express surprise at the critical comments made on Management and Occupancy Reviews. NCHM has the capability to review files at a site, as well as to perform ongoing reviews at a distance on a regular basis to insure ongoing compliance.

NCHM's File Audit Service involves reviews of existing resident files and new resident files in advance of a property's management and occupancy review (MOR). The percentage of files audited will be decided by the management organization. The emergence of technology also allows for rapid review of files at a distance on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

Mark Alper heads NCHM's audit compliance division, and brings almost three decades experience in housing and compliance issues, including training of HUD staff and Contract Administrators. Organizations wishing additional information about NCHM's file audit and ongoing compliance initiatives should contact Floyd Husk (Floyd@nchm.org) at 1-888-291-5562.
