NCHM Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER

Cancellation of In-Person Class

A cancellation request for an in person class (not an online class or webinar) made in writing and received by NCHM at least twenty-one (21) days in advance of the first day of the Course shall entitle the Customer to either a full refund of the Course fee paid less a $50 processing fee or a 100% credit of the amount paid to a future NCHM course taken either in-person or online within six (6) months of the original Course start date. Customer should indicate preference for a refund or credit at the time of the cancellation request. If no preference is noted, Customer’s account will be credited for future use.

Cancellation requests received less than twenty-one (21) days but more than three (3) days in advance of the first day of an in-person class shall result in a 50% credit of the amount paid to a future NCHM course taken whether in-person or online within six (6) months of the original course start date.

Any cancellation request received three (3) or less days prior to the start of an in-person class or a no-show shall result in the forfeiture of all amounts paid and Customer shall remain liable for any unpaid amounts.

NCHM will issue a Confirmation of Cancellation email upon the timely receipt of a cancellation request. Customer is advised to retain a copy of the Confirmation email as proof that the cancellation was received and approved.

A substitute attendee, defined as a person from the same organization attending a course in place of a registered participant, will be allowed without penalty provided the substitute attends the same course at the same location and date as the originally registered participant and provided that NCHM is notified in writing prior to the start of the program.

Cancellation of Live Online Class

A cancellation request for a class delivered by an instructor live online made in writing and received by NCHM at least fifteen (15) days in advance of the first day of the Course shall entitle the Customer to either a full refund of the course fee paid less a $50 processing fee a 100% credit of the amount paid to a future NCHM course taken either in-person or online within six (6) months of the original Course start date. Customer should indicate preference for a refund or credit at the time of the cancellation request. If no preference is noted, Customer’s account will be credited for future use.

A cancellation request for a class delivered by an instructor live online made in writing and received by NCHM at less than fifteen (15) days but more than three (3) days in advance of the first day of the Course shall entitle the Customer to either a full refund of the course fee paid less a $150 processing fee or a credit of the course fee less a $150 processing fee for a future NCHM course taken either in-person or online within six (6) months of the original Course start date. Customer should indicate preference for a refund or credit at the time of the cancellation request. If no preference is noted, Customer’s account will be credited for future use.

Any cancellation request received three (3) or less days prior to the start of an in-person course or a no-show shall result in the forfeiture of all amounts paid and Customer shall remain liable for any unpaid amounts.

Should the course in question involved Course materials that are shipped to registrants, and if said shipment has already taken place to the orginal registrant, it shall be the responsibility of the Customer to forward said materials to the substitute attendee. Any requests for the shipping of a second set of materials shall be fulfilled at NCHM’s discretion at a cost of $75 plus applicable shipping charges.

Cancellation of On-demand Online Class or Webinar

All sales of on-demand online classes or webinars are final. No refunds will be made for cancellations or no-shows and Customer shall remain liable for any unpaid amounts.
