“Home”.
The word conjures up images of a place of warmth, security, and happiness. It is our castle. Our respite from the “outside world”. A place to relax, enjoy friends and family, and, live the life we want to live, free of fear or intrusion.
As housing management professionals, we help to turn those images into reality. And we do it every day. It is a noble profession. At NCHM we are honored to be a part of it.

Paul has more than thirty years’ experience in property management and real estate development. He has managed several large multi-family and commercial portfolios and has developed more than $500 million in real estate assets. On the multi-family front, Paul has overseen portfolios containing virtually every type of property including conventional market-rate apartments and federally-assisted housing, as well as senior housing and assisted living.
Paul has extensive training experience, having designed and delivered training programs, seminars, and webinars on a variety of topics. He has served as an instructor for more than two hundred classroom-based programs across the country and overseas and is a regular contributor to NCHM’s online webinars.
On the consulting front, Paul has advised local, state and federal agencies, public housing authorities, non-profit organizations, and private development and management companies on a variety of real estate related matters from development and finance, through construction and operations.
Paul is a Fellow in the American Academy of Housing and Communities, a prestigious group of men and women selected for their special contributions in advancing the quality of housing and communities in American life.
